House rules
1. You must be 12 or older to use this app.
If you think this was a mistake, tell the staff what happened. They'll take a look.
Usernames are private. Ask your friend for theirs.
Two-factor authentication asks for a 6-digit code from an authenticator app when you sign in.
Banner images can be up to 6 MB. GIFs work too.
Avatar decorations, profile frames, effects and name styles live in the Echo Shop, in the sidebar.
Import a BetterDiscord or Vencord theme (.theme.css) and Echowave converts its colors. You can also paste a link to a theme file.
.theme.css
Do not disturb (set in Profile) silences everything. You can mute a single chat with the bell in its top bar.
Pick your devices by name, check your microphone level, record and play back a test, and preview your camera.
Higher quality needs a faster connection.
Roblox (also through Bloxstrap), Minecraft (Dawn Client, SKLauncher) and any fullscreen game are detected automatically. Add a program name above if one gets missed.
Tips: press Esc to close windows, Ctrl+K style search is in the left bar, and hover a message for reply, react, pin and more.
Reports go to Echowave staff. Reporting a face, photo or private info hides the message for everyone right away. The sender is banned when 2 different people report it or staff confirm it, and they can appeal.
